This policy explains what information Snapinstapro (“we”, “us”, the “Site”) handles when you use snapinstapro.org. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to make the downloader work.
We do not require accounts, passwords or logins. We never ask for your Instagram credentials and you should never enter them on this Site. We do not run advertising on the Site at the time of this update, and we do not sell your personal information.
When you use a downloader, you submit an Instagram link or username. We use it only to look up the public media you asked for. If you email us, we receive your email address and message, and we use them only to reply.
The link or username you enter is sent to our server. Our server forwards it to a third-party data source to retrieve publicly available media and profile details, then returns the result to your browser. That third party therefore receives the link or username you submit. Media files are delivered to you through our server, which streams them from Instagram’s content network; we do not save the media files.
To keep the Site fast, we temporarily cache the public details returned for a request (for example media addresses, captions and public profile names) for up to 15 minutes.
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings; the downloader may then stop working.
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand how the Site is used (for example pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and how visitors arrived). Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics cookies in the banner; if you reject, it is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Google processes this data on our behalf. You can also opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), by blocking cookies in your browser, or by using a browser that blocks trackers. Learn more in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically records technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested address, browser type and response status. We use these logs for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, and keep them only as long as needed for those purposes.
We share information only with (a) the third-party data source described above, as needed to fulfil your request, (b) Google, as our analytics provider, (c) our hosting and infrastructure providers, who process data on our behalf, and (d) authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.
Cached results expire as described above. Server logs and emails are kept only as long as necessary for the purposes in this policy. We use reasonable technical measures, such as HTTPS and request validation, but no system is completely secure.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we hold very little personal data, most requests are handled by email to [email protected].
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable law requires). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us, please email us and we will delete it.
The Site may link to other websites, and downloaded media belongs to its original creators on Instagram. We do not control other websites or their privacy practices; please read their policies.
Snapinstapro is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
